A new area code was just announced 2 days ago for the city of Houston, Texas and surrounding towns and cities like Baytown, Missouri City, Pearland, Sugarland, and many more. The area is currently served by a total of 4 area codes comprising the overlay complex 713/281/832/346. NPA 621 will be, as of January 23, 2025, the fifth area code to be added to the aforementioned overlay area.
