Basic info
Once again the province of British Columbia is running out of phone numbers and it is in need of a new area code. In May, 2019 area code 672 was added to one of the largest overlay NPAs in North America. The BC numbering plan area now has no less than 5 area codes. The older 250 and 604 codes, which do not overlay, are now covered by 778, 236 and 672.
